So get thinking and have fun reusing a bag. The most imaginative creations will be displayed in the library.
Look at some examples below.
- What is the theme or setting?
- How can I decorate the bag?
- Could I create an even better cover on the bag?
- Can I use any pictures or text from inside?
- Are there any great or important characters?

Book Character Parade on 25th March, 9:10 - 10:00 am
![Picture](/uploads/5/6/9/0/5690045/3140281.jpg)
Students in Year 1-3 & Year 5 are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite book character.
The parade of costumes will take place on the basketball courts from 9.10-10:00 a.m, allowing the students to fully appreciate and share their costumes and effort. Parents are invited to join us for this exciting celebration. We ask parents to keep within the designated viewing areas to watch the parade. We appreciate that some costumes might be quite cumbersome or hot to wear all day so it is suggested that students bring their school uniform to change into, if necessary.

A Reading Bridge between the Secondary and Primary School
![Picture](/uploads/5/6/9/0/5690045/664899.jpg?289)
We are very fortunate to have a College campus that includes both Primary and Secondary students in one location. During Book Week we would like to take advantage of this unique situation by connecting secondary and primary students through reading, and so create a "Story Bridge" across the College. It is always difficult to organize such an event as it creates a lot of movement and takes a lot of time. However because we are so committed to making this connection we have come up with the perfect solution. This year we will be asking secondary students during their scheduled/unscheduled library visits to read/share a story with primary students in the LIRC. This will simply involve movement between the secondary and primary libraries which are ideally connected via an internal stair.
